TAKE TO THE WATER...

The Mediterranean, the Canal du Midi, rivers and canals, lakes, lagoons, springs, hydrotherapy centres… Get a taste for water in all its forms in Languedoc-Roussillon.

Sail a yacht along the coast and stop off in one of the 21 marinas. For everyone else who loves the sea, why not take a break from lazing on the beach and go kite-surfing, visit an aquarium, go sea fishing, scuba diving, take a boat trip… or make the most of the many other activities to enjoy on the Languedoc coast.

Landlubbers can get their kicks inland, with white water sports such as canoeing, canyoning and rafting, or for the less adventurous, a quiet day's fishing by a lake or a river.
Finally, many hot and cold, ferrous and sulphurous thermal springs gush up from the ground across the region. Enjoy them on a spa holiday. Or come and sample the beneficial qualities of our mineral and spring waters.
